1. Assessment and Planning:

Its important to do a complete structural inspection of the area. Reviewing any areas that may be in disrepair or exposed to the outside .

Once we know the area is ready for spray foam we will provide a complete quote including depth/thickness, projected R-Value and thickness – either 2” or 3” inch.

After quote is agreed to our team will book a date for installation.

2. Preparation:

In preparation for the install the area on the wall and floor will need to be clear, this may include removing of old insulation and other building materials. We won’t spray on top of existing batten insulation.

The area should be well vented to aid in the curing process and ensure a safe environment for our workers. Best to leave all other trades out during the spray day.

3. Application of Spray Foam:

Two compounds are mixed to create spray foam insulation—polyol resin and isocyanate— Ensure your providers are doing this properly. This is the most expensive part of the process and not following manufacturers specs will result in a less than desirable product/result.

Our expert installers will use high-pressure spray gun to treat the area agreed.

Special attention is paid to openings like doorways, windows and skylights.

4. Curing and Drying:

Once spraying is complete, the product will expand into the cavity and will need time to harden and cure.

Ventilation and temperature of the room will impact the time required.

5. Trimming and Shaping:

After insulation has harden into place our installers will trim and shape to the studs of the wall and make ready for drywall.

Using specialized equipment our installers will cutaway any unwanted product.

6. Cleanup and Final Inspection:

Our crew will clean up any cut off product and leave the job site as they find it.

The head of the crew will do a final walk through with the customer and ensure they have no concerns about the job completed.
